People tend to have a love/severe hate relationship with Valentine’s Day. Sure, it’s great if you have someone. But if you don’t, the entire month of February pretty much rubs it in just how alone you are. Well, you know what always loves you no matter what Hallmark-created holiday it is? BEER. And Barley’s Angels (a female-only beer appreciation group) and ManBQue (a men-only bbq & beer club) are offering a mixer that pairs craft beer and meaty delicacies that will make you forget that you are all by your lonesome.
At 8 p.m. on February 14, 2013, guests will arrive at Local Option (1102 W. Webster Ave) where they will be treated to a three-course Valentine’s Day feast of meaty ManBQue food and four 4 oz. pours from the ever-changing, often rare, and always wonderful taps at Local Option, selected by the Barley’s Angels crew. All are welcome (couples, singles, friends with benefits) and who knows? Maybe you’ll meet that special someone over beef hearts and craft brews. There are only 30 tickets available for the night, and they can only be purchased at the Local Option webstore, http://localoptionbier.com/store/. This is a great opportunity to learn more about Barley’s Angels and ManBQue and to make new friends! Check out the menu below.
